AVA Gallery showcases local student artists in the
Third Annual Clatsop County High School Art Show

Artists' reception: Saturday, April 13
Awards presented at 7:00pm
DJ Joshiah Hirsch

The exhibition brings together students from Astoria, Knappa and Warrenton High Schools as well as students from the Gray Alternative School and homeschool students.

Each student created artwork on a 12”x12” panel, with 115 pieces total. A wide variety of media is represented. All artwork will be available for sale for $60 each, with students receiving $50 and AVA’s Miss Bea Johnson Fund for Young Artists receiving $10 for each sale.

Cash and other awards will be presented to artists during opening night, Saturday, April 13, at 7:00 pm. DJ and local high school student, Josiah Hirsch, will be providing tunes during the reception.

Art appreciation and art-making hold immense value for students’ personal and academic development. Please join AVA in celebrating these talented young artists and in thanking the participating teachers and schools, AVA members, and supporters of AVA’s Miss Bea Johnson Fund for Young Artists, including:
  • Hampton Family Foundation and Fred W. Fields Fund of The Oregon Community Foundation
  • Autzen Foundation
  • Harold & Arlene Schnitzer CARE Foundation
  • Clatsop County Cultural Coalition
  • Noel and Patricia Thomas
  • Miss Bea Program Coordinator Andie Sterling
