ARTIST'S STATEMENT
As an artist, I have a life-long love of color, especially the vivid colors and special effects of watercolor. I have worked hard to share my joy of life and my love of nature, people, animals, landscapes, and everyday objects and activities in my artwork. My painting styles include impressionism as well as abstract and 3-dimensional paper creations. I enjoy experimenting with other media, techniques and new subjects.
With every finished piece, I try to convey my joy of being in a world of incredible beauty and variety despite the highs and lows of life in today’s world. Art—painting, drawing, teaching art—is my reason for getting up in the morning.
