“I have picked flowers where I found them and picked sea shells and rocks and pieces of wood where there were sea shells and rocks and pieces of wood that I liked.  When I found the beautiful white bones on the desert I picked them up and took them home too. I have used these things to say what is to me the wideness and wonder of the world as I live in it.”
            -- Georgia O’Keefe, 1944

This says it all.  It’s great fun to roam the beach and find treasures  I love to paint, it is my passion. along with my home and garden and books to read.  Also cooking for friends.  I have a full life.

Various galleries in the area have shown my work and I belong to the Trails End Art Association, a terrific group of painters.  In addition, I paint with the North Coast Plein Air group.  I hope to continue painting for a long time.

With retirement comes the opportunity to do many things you meant to do a long time ago but it is never to late.

Enhancing, strengthening, and promoting the arts in Greater Astoria.
