Color, compare, contrast - - words we use all the time in music, writing, and art. In my pieces I put colors together, take them apart, compare, contrast, clash, and smile. The joy is listening for the fabric to tell me what's next and savoring the interplay of intuition, planning, impulse, and surprise.
