In April of 2020, AVA put out an open call for
pandemic-inspired art made by artists residing in Astoria and surrounding communities. We received a wide variety of responses from artists. Some artists reflect on the despair of self-isolation, some seek solace inward through mediation, some go to nature. This show reflects the universal reality of the pandemic. |
